FleetBoost is now officially listed on the federal government’s manufacturer list – Take advantage of the new electric truck charging infrastructure subsidy today

Good news for companies planning to switch to electric commercial vehicles: FleetBoost is now officially listed on the manufacturer list of eligible charging infrastructure solutions under the new federal subsidy program for charging infrastructure for heavy-duty commercial vehicles.

As a result, the FleetBooster 20 and the FleetBooster 40 meet the requirements to be considered under the current funding calls issued by the Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV). The list of manufacturers was published by the project management agency Jülich and serves as a guide for companies in selecting eligible solutions.

Up to 1 billion euros for the expansion of the electric truck charging infrastructure

Under the new funding guidelines, the Federal Ministry of Transport will provide a total of 1 billion euros over the coming years to develop charging infrastructure for battery-electric heavy-duty commercial vehicles. Funding will be available for both private charging points at vehicle depots and publicly accessible charging stations. In addition to the charging points themselves, grid connections, energy management systems, and battery storage systems are also eligible for funding.

This creates attractive opportunities, particularly for logistics companies, freight forwarders, industrial firms, and fleet operators, to cost-effectively establish their own charging infrastructure.

Why FleetBoost is particularly appealing

While traditional charging infrastructure projects often fail due to insufficient grid connection capacity, lengthy approval processes, or high investment costs, FleetBoost takes a different approach:

With the FleetBooster, companies gain a mobile battery and fast-charging solution that can be flexibly deployed at existing locations and helps alleviate grid bottlenecks.

These systems are particularly suitable for:

  • Operating yards and depots
  • Logistics centers
  • Turning points
  • Rental and Leased Space
  • Temporary or expanding electric truck fleets
  • Locations with limited grid connection capacity

By combining battery storage, smart energy management, and HPC charging technology, it is possible to provide charging capacities that would otherwise often only be achievable after extensive grid expansion projects.

FleetBooster 20 and FleetBooster 40

FleetBooster 20

  • 1.06 MWh battery storage
  • up to 400 kW DC charging power
  • ideal for small and medium-sized electric truck fleets
  • Easy to transport and quick to set up

FleetBooster 40

  • 2.1 MWh battery storage
  • up to 800 kW charging power
  • two built-in 400-kW HPC charging points
  • Suitable for warehouse solutions, loading platforms, and larger fleets

Act now: Application process begins June 5, 2026

The BMV’s first calls for proposals are already underway. For SMEs, the application process will begin on a first-come, first-served basis starting June 5, 2026. Additional calls for proposals for businesses and public charging infrastructure are already open or will remain open until early July.

Companies should therefore assess early on which charging infrastructure strategy makes economic and technical sense and which funding opportunities are available.
